COBRA's Operating Philosophy

COBRA seeks to establish scientific collaborations with life science research environments to which computational support could play a critical role.

COBRA's purpose is to solve problems ... to which the following questions and approach are applied:

1) What is your question?

2) What data are available to address your question?

3) Define (and develop, if necessary) a solution strategy to extract information from your data ... information to address your question.

4) Use that information to generate knowledge ... knowledge that answers your question.

5) Iterate as necessary until ... problem solved.

6) Next problem (Go to #1).
